# eth_getTransactionReceipt

# `eth_getTransactionReceipt`

Returns the receipt of a transaction by transaction hash. Receipts are only available for transactions that have been included in a block.

## Parameters

-   `transactionHash`: _[required]_ 32-byte transaction hash.

## Returns

A transaction receipt object, or `null` if the transaction is pending or not found. Key fields include `status` (`0x1` for success, `0x0` for failure), `gasUsed`, `logs`, and `contractAddress` (if a contract was created).
