# eth_getTransactionByHash

# `eth_getTransactionByHash`

Returns transaction data for a given transaction hash.

## Parameters

-   `transactionHash`: _[required]_ 32-byte transaction hash.

## Returns

A transaction object, or `null` if no transaction is found.
